Apple have produced the new iPod nano using a less toxic manufacturing processes, a move that has been welcomed by Greenpeace blogger, tomD “While these iPods may rock what would really shake up the computer industry is if Apple sticks to its promise and becomes the first company to make personal computers free of toxic PVC and BFR’s. That would be truly groundbreaking announcement.” This move backs up a campaign set up by the group, My Green Apple – a movement striving to encourage Apple to remove toxic chemicals from all of its products.
